Changes

I made it through the last lean time, though it seems that everything is lean right now. I finally finished my application for the Center for Student Missions on Friday. One of my references told me that he was called about an hour after I turned it in! That is very exciting. I hope that they are able to get a hold of all my references since some of them are in Kansas and others are not always available. I also will be visiting the site in LA some time in the next month. I really can't decide if I'd rather be in Los Angeles or San Fransisco. They both have certain allure to me. I think LA is pretty cool, I'd be closer to everyone here in San Diego. But that doesn't mean much when I'm close now and still rarely seen anyone. San Fransisco actually has two bases, one in SF and one in Oakland. Because of this it maybe easier to get a position there. San Fransisco is also a lot closer to our Truckee friends (I've been making a few from there). I'll be happy to work at either place!

The next option, since I don't have many, is to apply at the Astrocamp in Idyllwild or move home. I basically was confronted with the reality that if I don't get a different job or if something doesn't change here I have to move back to Kansas. I can't keep trying to pay for things with money I don't have.

Anyway, pray that I would be able to go on staff with CSM. It looks very promising and very rewarding!
