Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana

I made it through: a field trip to a farm, a mission outreach to a retirement home and two to teen pregnancy homes, Christian Character Day, Fall Festival, Parent Teacher Conferences, the Teacher Retreat, Saturday school and 2nd quarter progress reports.

If you can't tell it's been busy here, again. The schedule for my class has changed, again. And we're going through a round of sicknesses, again!

During church last week the pastor, who is the uncle of our elementary principal, gave a sermon about the parable of the sower and the seeds. As I was listening I wondered which one of the types of soil I am. I obviously strive to be the fertile soil and the seed that grows and produces more seeds. However, I feel like far too often I let the thorns sneak into the soil and choke me. This leads to not bearing fruit and that is something I know I can not let happen.

Thank you for all your support! I appreciate any and all prayer you lift up on my behalf!
