Bakersfield Christian HS

Our group from BCHS has been sooooo good. We went to two different sites and did three ministries today. The girls and guy did so good with connecting with the kids at Faith in Christ Church. They also didn't complain while we were serving breakfast or while we were cleaning up the community center. Then at the dinner at Midnight Mission they all took every thing in stride and served even when people were yelling at them for more food. I was so impressed when the students suggested giving up lunch once a week so that they could give it to/spend the money on the poor or homeless in Bakersfield. They really want to use this as a jumping off point serving those who need it in their own town which is exactly what we want for them!

YAY! One down, who knows how many to go.
