introductions

I decided to give my co-workers fun little nicknames for the blog: Britain (the Kansan), Pro, Con, Veil, Loo and Ham. I hope they don't mind. ;)

Anyway I'm going to write a little about all of them.

Britain is from Kansas just like me. It's kind of nice having someone here that knows exactly what you're talking about. She is all smiles and has really curly hair that I love! We've talked a lot about really embarrassing things which can be fun when there's no one else around.

Pro is the only male host this spring. He's from Chicago but lived in Columbia for a year teaching at a mission school. He has BRIGHT red hair and a funny flower tattoo on his forearm.

Con is the other female host. She's from Arizona and is also a redhead. She says she likes to be girly which might be hard in work clothes. We'll be hosting together this weekend.

Veil is one of the associate directors. He is also from Chicago and is good friends with Pro. Veil interviewed me and gave me the job here in LA. He reminds me a lot of a friend from my freshman year of college who used to lead the InterVarsity bible study.

Loo is the other associate director. He's from California and he's Chinese, I think (man I hope I have that right). Loo does most of the scheduling for the groups and hasn't been around as much.

Last is Ham; I feel like I should find a different name for her but I just don't have the brain power right now. Ham is the CSM LA Director. I met her for the first time yesterday. She has two daughters and is working from home a bit to take care of them. So, she's not around much at all.

Now you should know who I'm talking about when I talk about my co-workers.
